I am a senior lecturer in the philosophy department at Simon Fraser University in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada.

My primary research interests are in epistemic and practical normativity, reasons, and rationality. Other research interests include virtue epistemology and topics in metaethics.

​​​I also enjoy cooking, playing and watching hockey, and spending time with my family. Here's a picture of our dog Ellie, who lived a helluva life.
